It's National Ice Cream Month!
National Ice Cream Month is a sweet tradition that has carried on annually for almost
four decades! Each year ice cream shops around the country celebrate National Ice
Cream Month and National Ice Cream Day (Third Sunday of the Month), and this year
we want it to be sweeter.
Did you know Kentucky Senator, Walter Dee Huddleston introduced
a resolution in 1984 to proclaim July as National Ice Cream Month?
That same year, President Ronald Reagan signed the bill into law
and the rest is history!
